Your Profile & Settings
Your profile is where you manage your personal account settings and preferences. Everything from your display name to your default workspace.
Accessing Your Profile
Section titled “Accessing Your Profile”Click the profile icon in the top-right corner of the application (usually your initials or avatar), then select Profile Settings from the dropdown menu.
Personal Information
Section titled “Personal Information”Update the basic information others see about you:
Display Name
Section titled “Display Name”- Your name appears next to changes you make (so teammates see who did what)
- Keep it recognizable - first and last name is best
- Used in permission dialogs and audit logs
Email Address
Section titled “Email Address”- Your account email - used for password resets and notifications
- Must be unique across the system
- Verify new email addresses before they take effect
Profile Photo
Section titled “Profile Photo”If available, upload a profile picture:
- JPG, PNG, or WebP format
- Recommended: Square image (300x300px or larger)
- Shows in team member lists and change history
Workspace Preferences
Section titled “Workspace Preferences”Default Estate
Section titled “Default Estate”Set which estate opens when you log in. This is just a preference - you can always switch to any other estate you have access to.
This is especially helpful if you usually work with one estate but have access to multiple.
Default Floor Display Mode
Section titled “Default Floor Display Mode”Choose your preferred display mode for floor plans:

Your choice applies when you open any floor plan.
Security & Access
Section titled “Security & Access”Password
Section titled “Password”Change your password regularly:
- Go to Profile Settings
- Select Change Password
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password (8+ characters)
- Confirm the new password
- Click Update Password
Two-Factor Authentication (if available)
Section titled “Two-Factor Authentication (if available)”If your organization has enabled 2FA:
- Go to Security Settings
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
- Enter the 6-digit code to verify
- Save backup codes in a safe place (you’ll need these if you lose your phone)
Account vs. Estate Settings
Section titled “Account vs. Estate Settings”New users often get confused between personal account settings and estate/site settings:

Session Management
Section titled “Session Management”Active Sessions
Section titled “Active Sessions”View where you’re currently logged in:
- This Device - Your current session
- Other Devices - Where else you’re logged in
- Click Log Out on any session to sign out from that device
This is useful if you think your account might be compromised, or you want to sign out from a shared computer.
Automatic Logout
Section titled “Automatic Logout”For security, you’ll be automatically logged out after:
- A period of inactivity
- Browser window closes
- Midnight UTC (daily security refresh)
